Fundamental Skills

Fundamental Skills Development Program is a fee for service program that provides basic day to day living skills while promoting personal independence and community involvement.

Participants will experience an individualized and structured environment to learn and practice new skills. With the help of staff and caregivers, participants create an Individual Support Plan reflecting their personal needs and their desired service outcomes. Participants can get involved in various personal interest groups and/or participate in daily organized activities. Many participants get involved in volunteer positions or community service work with support.

We enjoy partnerships with other community agencies such as, The Peterborough Art Gallery, Peterborough Green Up and the YMCA.

We create new and exciting groups that run on a 12-week basis. Our daily organized activities change seasonally. We offer evening activities organized on a month-to-month basis.
